Do you want to run our prestigious annual Muslim Protagonist symposium? Do you want a chance to host one of Columbia University’s biggest events of the year? Do you want to see literature used as an agent of social change — to give voice to the voiceless, write your own story for the minority narrative? Apply to serve on the Planning Committee!

Last year’s all-day symposium featured the likes of acclaimed Ms. Marvel writer G. Willow Wilson, Al Jazeera-America Co-Host Wajahat Ali, Michael Muhammad Knight, Mira Nair, Saladin Ahmed, Alex Rivera, and many more, gathering an audience 400-strong from all over the Northeast and garnering coverage on The Missing Slate, Bwog, and The Columbia Daily Spectator.

Spots on the Planning Committee are limited, and we have a stellar lineup of writers (currently under wraps) for Feb. 28th, 2014.
